This winter was merely brutal. I couldn't be more excited and impatient for spring to arrive.

The best part about winter, notwithstanding, was the cozy, warm comfort foods, like this boring-cooker Paleo beef stew. I'm not so sure I would have made information technology through February without it.

I don't eat Paleo myself, merely I'm e'er all for creating new, good for you recipes. I have tons of friends who swallow different diets—from Paleo to gluten-gratuitous to vegan. I'm always upwardly for making them something succulent when we're together.

I have, however, washed the Whole30. So I became very acquainted with Paleo recipes. Even friendly, I would say.

Stew e'er reminds me of my grandmother's house growing upward. My grandad would always have a big pot of stew simmering abroad all twenty-four hour period. The dull cooker does the piece of work for you here, ensuring the stop result is an immensely flavorful stew full of tender beef.

Slow-Cooker Paleo Beef Stew

Slow-Cooker Paleo Beef Stew

This dull-cooker Paleo beef stew has tons of goodies in information technology. Tender beefiness, carrots, onions, fragrant fresh herbs, potatoes, and bawdy mushrooms.

While it does utilize white potatoes, y'all could admittedly supersede them with sweetness potatoes or parsnips. White potatoes are fairly argued when it comes to the Paleo diet, so I'll let yous decide that one.

The star of the recipe hither is a really slap-up os broth. But if you don't have it, a loftier-quality beefiness goop is fine.

What is bone broth, anyway?

Bone goop is a bit different from your basic stock or goop that you lot'd find in the store. What makes it different is mainly 1 thing: the basic (chicken, beefiness, or fish) are slow simmered for much longer (usually a minimum of 12 hours).

This creates a thicker stock from the bone's natural gelatin. Due to a longer cooking time, it too extracts more nutrients, minerals, amino acids, and collagen from the basic.

What results is a protein-rich stock that has an ample amount of vitamins, calcium, magnesium, and iron. The benefits of bone broth range from boosting immunity to fighting inflammation to supporting bone and peel health. Y'all can read more virtually the benefits of os broth hither.

My personal favorite brand is Kettle Burn's organic os broth, which can exist purchased on Amazon. Y'all can also try making your own bone goop, just be sure to avoid these common mistakes.
